Discover the Teaching Journey of Raheem Zafar

With over 20 years of international educational leadership and UK teaching and learning expertise, Raheem is a dedicated Head Teacher who has always implemented the 3Es: “Exceptional Educational Experience” for all abilities to create global students in today’s world.

Multinational and multilingual, Raheem grew up in Paris (France). After his French baccalaureate, he obtained two master’s degrees at the University of Paris, which he completed alongside work experience in the French Consulate in Los Angeles (USA). 

He then completed a third master’s degree at the University of Birmingham before becoming a UK QTS teacher. In addition to being a Head of Faculty, Raheem is also a PGCE mentor (BCU) and an Educational Consultant, where he supports schools in improving pedagogy in MFL.

After multiple educational articles, videos, and conferences, Raheem proudly contributed to an EU project called “School 4 Inclusion,” where he laid out the basis of an excellent curriculum to develop an inclusive EU policy for migrant children, which was his case-growing up in Paris.

Raheem strongly advocates for all migrant students to have access to the best Quality Education in schools as the best vehicle to equal social and economic success regardless of their abilities, color, race, and gender.

About Me

With a wealth of international and national teaching experiences and expertise, Mr Zafar’s journey adds a unique dimension to his commitment to educational excellence by becoming Head Teacher in a prestigious international school.

Mr Zafar marks the culmination of a distinguished and long academic and teaching experience in the UK and French Education system of over 25 years. His remarkable journey began in the vibrant heart of Paris, France, where he grew up and obtained a French baccalaureate. Mr Zafar received a BSc in Law. Then he enhanced it by pursuing two master’s degrees at the University of Paris: an MPhil in International Studies and an MSc in European Geopolitics, completed with international experience as a French Diplomate at the French Consulate in LA, USA.

Mr Zafar’s teaching career began after he earned his third master’s degree from the University of Birmingham, UK—MA International Studies. He has always been dedicated to helping underprivileged pupils and promoting a passion for education.

After obtaining the National Professional Qualification Middle Leaders (NPQML) and National Professional Qualification Senior Leader (NPQSL), Mr Zafar has been now awarded the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from the University of College London (UCL – UK).

Mr Zafar’s commitment extends beyond the classroom as he engages with non-profit teaching organisations. He mentored and developed PGCE students at Birmingham City University UK, served as the Educational Consultant at the Birmingham Education Partnerships, and led whole-school Teaching and Learning CPD training in the UK. He believes that the best teaching and learning pedagogy is cultivated initially to create outstanding educators. Mr. Zafar is a fervent advocate of international and digital educational inclusion.

He takes immense pride in his contributions to the EU “Erasmus” project, “School 4 Inclusion,” where over 15 European schools collaborated to develop teaching strategies for creating inclusive environments for migrant children.

He believes in the inclusivity of the international education system, which provides inclusive opportunities to all, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity.
